Chapter 131 The Spider Family VS The Avengers
Chapter 131 The Spider Family VS The Avengers
Tony and Dr. Green were speechless after hearing Jarvis's words.
Are you saying that we're infringing on our own portrait rights by using our own faces?
Most importantly, neither of them had a way to refute Jarvis.
Because they are currently in someone else's universe, and the real Tony and Banner in this universe aren't actually them...
Doctor Green looked at Captain America and Tony: "What should we do? Should we leave first? Before we in this universe find us, let's find a way to quickly get the Infinity Stones and then leave."
Captain America and Tony exchanged a glance.
Captain America shook his head: "No, leaving now will only exacerbate this misunderstanding. We should go see our counterparts in this universe and persuade them to lend us the Infinity Stones. That's the best option right now."
Tony adjusted his nanotech glasses, looked up at the sky, and said in a deep voice, "And... they've arrived!"
The next second, an invisible red and black spaceship slowly appeared above them.
The spaceship hatch opened, and a red-gold steel figure leaped out of the spaceship first, landing with a perfect superhero landing with a bright "thud".
Upon landing, Tony from this universe lit up his palms and two gun barrels popped out from his shoulders, aiming at the four people at once. He said leisurely:
"Alright, you four cosplayers, although I don't know how you created an artificial intelligence system, the fact that you pulled this stunt during the Chitauri invasion makes me seriously suspect you're Chitauri spies. So, take off your disguises now!"
Upon hearing this, Captain America raised his hands to indicate that he meant no harm and explained:
"Tony, listen to us. We are not disguised Chitauri. We are who we are, just from another universe. We have come to borrow a few things from your universe to save our universe."
Upon hearing this, Tony, from this universe, frowned deeply beneath his armor, clearly disbelieving this Captain America he had only seen in photographs. His tone was impatient as he said:
"Fine, fine, you guys are really Iron Man, Hulk, and Captain America who died back in World War II, okay? Even if you're from another parallel universe, now put your hands on your heads and kneel down, alright?"
Ant-Man, hearing that the other person only mentioned three others, pointed to himself and asked, "Wait, why aren't you mentioning me?"
This universe's Tony glanced at Ant-Man and chuckled, "You? Sorry, I really can't tell who you're cosplaying as. Are you Toby? Forgive my bluntness, but you look more like an ordinary thief than a superhero."
Ant-Man, upon hearing this, could he possibly tolerate it?
He glared angrily at Captain America beside him and urged, "Captain, he's all alone now. Why don't we just take him down and force this arrogant guy to tell us where the Infinity Stones are?"
Before Captain America could answer, Nami Tony, standing beside him, objected, saying disapprovingly, "Hey, watch your mouth, Thumbelina, who are you calling arrogant?"
Ant-Man looked at Tony, pointed at him, and explained, "I wasn't talking about you, I was talking about him!"
Nano-Tony pointed at Tony, then at himself: "But isn't he just like me in the past? Saying he's like saying I'm talking about myself, isn't it?"
"You...he...I..." Ant-Man was completely bewildered by Tony and had no idea how to explain.
"Alright, New York's got a lot going on today. I don't have time to play house with you face-swap monsters. I have to go find that bastard Toby later, so..."
This universe's Tony wasn't going to stand by and watch any longer. He made a megaphone gesture and shouted, "Spider-Man, tie them all up!"
Whoosh whoosh whoosh————
As Tony from this universe shouted, four strands of spider silk descended from the sky, wrapping around the four people below.
First, there was Nano-Tony, an ordinary human, and Ant-Man. Before they could react, they were completely bound by the spider silk that fell from the sky.
Next up is Dr. Green, who has already deeply merged with the Hulk. He was also bound by spider silk, but having inherited the Hulk's power, he broke free of the silk by struggling with his arms.
Seeing this, Tony from this universe did not hesitate at all. He activated the power thrusters of his armor at full power and delivered a rocket uppercut that slammed into Dr. Green's chin, sending him flying!
Finally, there's Captain America. With his extensive combat experience, he's the only one who wasn't directly entangled by the spider webs.
Captain America raised his shield to block the incoming webs, causing Peter's webs to stick to the vibranium shield.
Seeing that Tony and Banner were already fighting in this universe, Captain America gritted his teeth, grabbed the spider web, spun around, and pulled Peter off the ship, who was caught off guard!
And then a flying shield slammed down on this little spider in the universe!
In his universe, during the Civil War, he used this move to defeat Spider-Man from Tony's side!
But Captain America forgot that this wasn't his universe.
The little spider in this universe is far superior to the immature little spider in his universe, whether in terms of age, the use of spider abilities, or even the teaching of combat skills!
Spider-Man, who was pulled off the spaceship by Captain America, was only surprised for a moment. He adjusted his posture in mid-air and not only avoided Captain America's flying shield attack, but also easily caught Captain America's shield with one hand!
After landing, Peter held the star shield in his hand and weighed it in his hand. His mask couldn't hide his surprised expression, and he exclaimed to Captain America:
"Wow! Dude, you actually stole Captain America's shield from the museum just to cosplay him?!"
Captain America was initially surprised that his perfectly aimed shield was caught so easily, then said helplessly, "Kid, that shield in the museum is just a model, it's fake. Mine is actually the real one..."
"Okay, here you go~" Peter shrugged and casually tossed the shield back to Captain America.
As a super soldier, Captain America couldn't possibly be hit by such a simple and direct attack like Captain America in some parallel universe; he simply dodged the flying shield by turning to the side.
But to his surprise, Peter's target wasn't him at all.
With a loud thud, Doctor Green, who had been gaining the upper hand in his battle with Tony from this universe, was suddenly struck in the face by Captain America's shield, hitting his vulnerable eye area!
This blurred Dr. Green's vision, giving Tony an opportunity to turn the tide of the battle instantly, putting Dr. Green at a disadvantage once again!
Captain America was startled by the scream of the Green Doctor who had been hit and instinctively turned his head to look.
But before he could go up to help, he heard a strong gust of wind behind him.
By the time Captain America realized something was wrong and turned around, Peter's fist was already in front of him.
With a loud thud, Captain America was punched in the head by Peter and fell straight to the ground, falling into a deep, baby-like sleep.
Before losing consciousness, Captain America's only thought was that the Spider-Man of this universe was so different from that unreliable kid in his universe...
It can only be said that Captain America truly deserves the title of Marvel's "50/50" man; he can go toe-to-toe with anyone, even Spider-Man, whose strength is vastly different from his own.
The problem is, Captain America can only go toe-to-toe with almost anyone for a couple of moves...
Peter, who had knocked Captain America down, glanced at the unconscious man with interest and clicked his tongue, saying, "Tsk tsk, he actually has a standard American-style perky butt!"
